Will food be provided at the event?

There will be light snacks and coffee provided at the Summit, but all other meals will be up to the individual attendee. Outside of the food provided, downtown Anchorage has a number of dining options that are all walkable distance from the Egan Center including:

What is the cost for attendance of this event?

This is a FREE event with a goal of improving school safety and well-being in Alaska.

Is the Summit providing travel grants?

Yes! Each school district will be provided a small travel grant in GMS to help cover costs. District teams may include a maximum of 6 Superintendent-approved team members; AASB, Alternative School, and AWARE school grantees will not be included in that total. Alternative schools and AWARE schools may include a maximum of 4 Principal-approved team members. Apply here today!

Egan Center is located at 555 W. Fifth Avenue in the heart of downtown Anchorage with walkable paid parking available within a two-block radius. Popular parking locations include:
